Bernie Dake is a fourth-generation Salvationist and son of retired officers from the USA Eastern Territory. He and his wife Laura reside in Tucker, Georgia and soldier at the Atlanta Temple Corps where Bernie is a songster and bandsmen. 

Bernie was the Assistant Territorial Music Secretary and Director of Music Publications, Production, and Marketing for The Salvation Army USA Southern Territory. He has produced several recordings including Phil Laeger’s All I Held Onto, and transMission’s Send the Fire, I Know a Fount, Be a Hero, Unfailing Love, Be Like Jesus, and The World for God. 

Today Bernie serves as the Territorial Director of Communications and is responsible for bringing together 17 people who are responsible for communicating the message and ministry of The Salvation Army more effectively through Graphics, Print, Social Media, Video, and Websites.
