Sing Praise
The Sing Praise series has been in existence since 1992. Dr. Richard E. Holz pioneered many innovations during his thirty years overseeing the music programs of the Southern Territory, including the American Instrumental Ensemble Series for brass and the Children’s Praise series for singing companies.
Sing Praise is designed to fit the needs of a Salvation Army songster group, Church choir, or school vocal group. All arrangements and piano accompaniments are considered easy-to-moderate, and can be sung by virtually any vocal combination.
It is always preferable to perform music live, which is why the piano accompaniments have been written with moderate players in mind, but for use in rehearsal and on the occasion that an accompanist is not available for performance, a CD of these songs is available that includes demonstration and accompaniment tracks. The tracks for Volume 19 have been posted digitally. Volume 19 and future editions of Sing Praise will be made free for anyone to use!
Children’s Praise
The Children’s Praise series has been in existence since 1991. Beginning in 2016, we have decided to make this a free publication!
Children’s Praise is designed to fit the needs of a Salvation Army singing company group, Church children’s choir, or elementary school vocal group. All arrangements and piano accompaniments are considered easy to moderate in difficulty, and can be easily taught to any group.
