Kaitlyn is an accomplished arts practitioner, educator, and social researcher who recognizes the transformative power of the arts in shaping and renewing culture. With over a decade of experience in the nonprofit arts sector, she has successfully spearheaded the launch and strategic growth of community arts programming across the United States, while also increasing organization’s annual funding support by over 600%. She currently serves as a Senior Consultant for Artistic Development and Research for a nonprofit consulting firm where she works alongside arts organizations nationwide to build their infrastructure and measure their impact.
Currently a PhD candidate in Arts Administration, Kaitlyn possesses a comprehensive understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of the field, staying at the forefront of emerging trends in capacity building and program development within the arts. In addition to her academic pursuits, Kaitlyn actively shares her expertise as an adjunct professor at Oklahoma City University and Ohio University, where she teaches courses in nonprofit leadership and arts administration. Her instruction covers a diverse range of topics, including advocacy and policy, fundraising and development, grant writing, and strategic planning. This breadth of knowledge enables her to effectively guide organizations in creating sustainable and impactful programs.
Kaitlyn is an east coast transplant currently residing in Oklahoma City. The favorite part of her days are taking adventures with her two dogs, Chief the Champion and Willow the One Eyed Wonder; or gallantly riding her noble steed, Galileo.
